AN•TAWA CEREMONIES 3 • Day 5 – RAQCH’I – Part 3

After our “official” ceremony came to a close, we walked to the Sun – Moon Axis which runs through the center of the Temple Complex. This is when we began to realize a small portion of the massive scope of the amazing Sacred Temples of Wiracocha ~ the Creator.

We walked to the sacred, circular storage areas called Collqas and went inside the largest, restored one. Here, we chanted :: HU TAWA HU :: It was beyond magnificent!

Afterwards, we sat by the side of the main Temple where Martina told us many fascinating stories of growing up there. All the while, we felt our deep connection with the remnants of the Eleven : Eleven columns on each side of the central wall.

Then it was time for a simple and delicious picnic lunch, accompanied by shopping of some of Martina’s handmade treasures.

Our entire experience in Raqch’i was far beyond anything we had imagined. It was immeasurably REAL and TRUE.

BUT WHAT MADE IT SO AMAZING ~ is that we didn’t go there as a group of tourists ~ but AS TIMELESS TRUE ONES WHO WERE BRINGING ALIVE SOME ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS OF AN ANCIENT INCA PROPHECY.

: Martina took us to where the Sun – Moon Axis goes through Raqch’i. Once I sat down, I couldn’t get up. I felt glued into position.

: Raqch’i is full of great mysteries. It would take a long time to discover them all.

: The Temple of Wiracocha was two stories tall. On either side of the central wall, there used to be eleven of these tall stone columns ~ 11:11. No wonder that I’ve always felt so connected with Raqch’i. This is the only column that was not destroyed by the Conquistadors. Photo by Sebastian.

: On our way back to the van, there was a bit of shopping in the previously sleepy plaza that had now burst into life. Nogi wrapped himself in the beautiful lliqlia that he purchased from Martina.
