The past few weeks were rather challenging here. Emanáku was in Germany for his son’s wedding and I was here by myself with the cats. Our month long program of Special Events is now complete. Last Wednesday, the last of our visitors finally departed. Since then, we’ve been trying to catch up on all the work that was neglected during the past month. There are taxes to file, bills to pay, orders to send, houses to clean and recalibrate. We had three free days between the Activation of the Heart of AN and our first Heart of AN Master Class. This was the perfect time for people to visit Moray, Pisac, Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo. Emanaku and I stayed at home and I somehow managed to write the July Surf Report while Emanaku created [ Read More…. ]
After the Activation Ceremony, we all enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by our friends Ludo and Zobeida who own a nearby Hostal. Several people had brought our workers small gifts from their countries and these were handed out with much enthusiasm.
Later that afternoon, many of us returned to the site of our ceremony and discovered that the Activation was still going strongly….
After our despacho ceremony was complete, we moved our sacred staffs of AN to the four doorways of the AN•Chakana. This is when the Activation of the Heart of AN officially began!
Now, the music starts to play. Our five musicians came together and created the perfect music for our ceremony almost effortlessly….
After a very successful Readers of the Cards Class, we had two “days off” in which to run to Cuzco to talk the printer into making new cards to replace the defective and dirty ones….

We have been in full action mode here this week! Victor and Basilio have returned to create the tubes in the ground that will hold our ceremonial staffs and banners for the Activation of the Heart of AN on June 30th.
