Hemos estado muy ocupados aquí por las últimas semanas. Mucho está en movimiento. Ahí está el sentido de que nos estamos preparando para cosas que no podemos ver. It feels like we still have much to do to get everything ready here for next year, so this preparation takes much of our current focus. We are still building our infrastructure at the Heart of AN, step by step. We only do the tasks that we can see clearly. If the path of action [ Read More…. ]

We’ve had a super busy week here. Several projects were completed including the river rock baseboards in AN•Wasi and the small plastic roof over our clothesline. Also, our metal worker Danielo is making new brackets for the base of our dining room table which should be ready to pick up on Friday. German and his [ Read More…. ]

It’s definitely never boring here. A good example of this was last Sunday. It was one of those special Out of Time days. Emanaku and I were alone on the land and deeply enjoyed the quiet. This was the kind of blessed day that we wish we could experience more often. It felt like time [ Read More…. ]

We’ve had lots of activity here during the past week. German and two helpers have been building the river rock paths around our house. There has been a steady stream of wheelbarrows full of rocks and cement passing below my office window. The paths have built in channels to lead the rainwater away from our [ Read More…. ]

Saturday is our one year anniversary of living at the Heart of AN! It’s hard to believe that we’ve been here one complete year, yet in another sense it feels like we have been here forever. Everything that happened before has a sense of unreality. There’s nothing quite the same as living in your True [ Read More…. ]

This past week brought us many adjustments and New Beginnings. Our new Dog of AN, Manzana, is such a joy. She is becoming more relaxed and at home each day. For her first week here, she was like Emanaku’s shadow and followed him everywhere. Now, she is finally becoming more independent. The cats are still [ Read More…. ]

This was a super busy week here with many changes. The most exciting news is the arrival of Manzana yesterday afternoon. She is our first Dog of AN and is an absolute sweetheart. She had a tranquil first night here and is busy exploring her new environment. The cats are still adjusting to her, but [ Read More…. ]

September is a busy month so far, but so much easier than August. I’m finally feeling healthy again, and better yet, things are moving forward! Yesterday, we found our first Heart of AN dog. She’s an eight month old female with some golden retriever mix. She’s been living at an animal refuge in Cuzco for [ Read More…. ]

The past few weeks were rather challenging here. Emanáku was in Germany for his son’s wedding and I was here by myself with the cats. We thought that everything would quiet down a bit after our Special Events were over, but we have been super busy here at the Heart of AN. Our month long program of Special Events is now complete. Last Wednesday, the last of our visitors finally departed. Since then, we’ve been trying to catch up on all the work that was neglected during the past month. There are taxes to file, bills to pay, orders to send, houses to clean and recalibrate. We had three free days between the Activation of the Heart of AN and our first Heart of AN Master Class. This was the perfect time for people to visit Moray, Pisac, Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo.
