Super busy week at the Heart of AN with lots getting done. The first floor of our house is being plastered, while the last cement floors are being laid on the second floor. Every day brings major progress to the Heart of AN, especially when yeso plaster is involved. Yeso brings instant refinement and beauty to the rough adobe.   The enclosed balcony of Emanaku’s office is taking form. Platforms are built in each room so the ceilings can be plastered. There is much progress at the Heart of AN! ♥ The plastering of the tower room and 2nd floor are nearly done. On April 21st, we held a simple, but deeply touching, ceremony at the Heart of AN to put the Beacon of AN and two toros from Pucara on top of the roof of our house.   Now chicha is poured by Victor and Aurelio as an offering to Pachamama inside the toros and all over [ Read More…. ]

Things are moving quickly at the Heart of AN. ♥ The past few weeks saw some dramatic developments. Yeso plaster is now being put on the interior and exterior walls starting at the top and working downwards. The yeso plaster is softening the look of our house. The tiles go on the roof and a well-traveled AN disc arrives as we immerse ourselves deeper into the New Landscape. Sebastian brings us a very special AN. Our metal fence is nearly complete. Next week we start planting the pink flowers!! The second floor of our house is almost finished. Next week we start building the roof! Each time we visit the land, we have no idea what animals we will find there. Here’s a happy horse belonging to one of our neighbors. The previous day, a herd of goats visited our magical land. This week we have visiting toros. And the visiting goats have been moved to a new location on the land. It’s amazing that so far the entire house is being built without electricity.
