THE HEART OF AN — SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS, PERU
Part Twenty-Two: Day 13 — November 21 2024
THE TEMPLE OF WIRACOCHA AT RAQCH’I
At 4:00 am, we sleepily made it to the bus waiting for us outside of Casita Huaran. We were on our way to the magnificent Temple of Wiracocha in Raqch’i. Wiracocha is the Creator of the Incas and his temple complex is very special.
When we went to make our first ceremony there in 2023, Martina Mamani, the Guardian of Raqch’i had told us that Wiracocha had made a prophecy about the arrival of his people in the future. He said that we would be dressed in bright clothes, and here we were ~ The Family of AN, in our brilliant magenta ponchos! Being at Raqch’i felt like coming home to us.
We formed a procession and walked to the sacred fountains where our pututus and drums announced our arrival. We presented our water offerings from the Heart of AN and asked for permission to make our ceremony there. Wiracocha smiled upon us and let us in.
Next, we walked up to the ceremonial place and began….
