The AN•visible 

Wir haben hier eine sehr volle Woche erlebt. An unserem Gästehäuschen AN•Wasi gab es weiterhin Fortschritte, vor unserem Haus beginnt der Rasen zu wachsen, und ein Kondor stattete seinen Besuch ab. Das Hauptaugenmerk in der letzten Woche lag darauf, AN Wasi so weit zu bringen wie möglich. Creme-weißes Yeso (Gipsverputz) wurde auf alle inneren Wände aufgebracht, und heute und morgen werden auch noch die letzten äußeren Wände damit verputzt. Das Yeso vermittelt eine sanfte Helligkeit. We had a very sweet Despacho Ceremony on the Full Moon last Saturday in which we thanked Pachamama, asked for her blessings for AN Wasi and put up the Beacons of AN on the roof of the casita and over our front gate. (Photos of all this are in the blog entry of December 6, [ Read More…. ]

Last week wasn’t a week full of dramatic changes here, but there was steady progress. At our house, we are still looking for the right places to put things, hanging curtains, doing daily maintenance such as watering all the plants and trying to catch up on long neglected office work. We are still getting used to being immersed in such stunning beauty, both inside our house and in our outer environment. This is creating deep changes within us. In many ways, we feel like plants which have long resided in pots that were way too small, causing our roots and leaves to become cramped and [ Read More…. ]

Last week was full of Left Field Shocks with intensity levels that were often Off the Map. First was the cement electricity pole that suddenly appeared right next to the upstairs bedroom of our casita. Then we had some land speculators looking at several pieces of adjoining property, which we’ve been wanting to buy as [ Read More…. ]

We thought that after we had moved in and unpacked that we would be able to sit back and relax a bit, not realizing that there was still so much to do. Not only with the building of the guardian casita, but there are so many things, both outside and inside our house, that need [ Read More…. ]

It’s hard to believe that we’ve already been living here for just over a month. We feel so deeply comfortable living here that in some ways it feels like we’ve always lived here. But after a month of steady unpacking, sorting and organizing, we are still not completely settled. We are putting up window blinds, [ Read More…. ]

After nearly a month, we are still getting settled. The boxes have nearly all been unpacked, but there are still piles on the floor all over the house waiting to be sorted and resorted, then put into their right places. Every day we make noticeable progress, but there is always so much more to do. [ Read More…. ]

After two and a half weeks of non stop action, we now have practically everything unpacked and placed in baskets, bins and piles all over the house. Now, we just need to find their right places. This requires lots of intuition, listening to where everything belongs at The Heart of AN. And if the right [ Read More…. ]

Another super busy week as the unpacking continues. Each day is like running a marathon. Emanaku and I are working non-stop day and night while in a continual state of extreme tiredness. Small trails in each room are now becoming larger paths. Practically nothing is in its right place yet, but small islands of order [ Read More…. ]

We finally moved into our beautiful new house on October 3rd. Since then, it has been quite an intense journey (which I will write about in more detail in the October Surf Report which is still in progress.) We have been through supreme exhaustion, a painful pulled ligament and deep, detoxifying purification which led to [ Read More…. ]

This was another super exhausting and super exciting week at The Heart of AN. Many lamps were installed, although there are still more that need to be put into position. The bamboo floors were finished. The kitchen and bathrooms sinks were put into position. Slowly, but steadily, the closets and stairs were brought to completion. [ Read More…. ]

We are in the final stretch now and going full speed ahead so we can start moving in at the end of next week. It will take a few miracles, but it is possible and so tantalizingly close.
