This past week we’ve been making lots of progress. Jesús, our new part time gardener started work last Friday and already there are many noticeable improvements in our gardens. When I first planted flowers here, I had no idea that they would grow so quickly and profusely, but they did. Some of our flower gardens were bursting with flowers that greatly needed thinning. Jesús was up to the task and immediately started removing flowers and planting them in new locations throughout the land. With Eloy’s help, they quickly filled up the new flower pots which we had bought last August.
All week long, we’ve been enjoying our new fiber optic internet and are starting to catch up on the many updates of software and apps which have been accumulating for many months. Another week or so and we should be up to date!
On Saturday we enjoyed a visit with Luzclara, a Chilean friend. She really loved her reading of the Cards of AN. Afterwards, we returned her to Pisac and visited Jesús’ home and abundant garden. We saw several plants in his garden which we’ve never seen before in Peru.
We have been focused on completing the design for our AN•Labyrinth and it is nearly done! In a few days, we will draw it in its exact size on the ground with yeso plaster dust so we can try it out before actually creating it. Our design is definitely unique, but so far it feels good.
We also completed the schedule of our 2016 Special Events at the Heart of AN!!! There are several Readers of the Cards of AN Master Classes sprinkled throughout the year. These very concentrated and super brilliant classes are limited to ten people per class and are definitely worth experiencing.
Our big event of the year is THE CONCLAVE OF THE FAMILY OF AN: (AN • The New Reality • Pachacuti) which will be held from October 10 – 16, followed by a Readers of the Cards of AN Master Class a few days later. We really hope that some of you are called to participate with us!
You can find the complete schedule of events here: The AN•visible events 2016

Our gorgeous gardens are washed clean in the rain.

Here’s Jesús, our amazing new gardener, with Eloy. Jesús has a magical connection with plants and will be a huge help here.
During the next few weeks, we will be planting several new fruit trees. We already have one each of orange, lime, avocado and fig trees, plus a grenadine vine!
We are also going to finally plant the herb garden!!!

We’ve just created a new garden area full of white calla lilies next to the acequia canal near our house.

Last Saturday we enjoyed a visit with my ancient star sister, Luzclara of Chile. As you can see, we had lots of fun together!

Luzclara had a brilliant, and extremely helpful, reading with the Cards of AN.

The sky was so gorgeous on our way back from Pisac last Saturday afternoon.

After a struggle with Manzana, Cachorro finally found his own food bowl. Luna, who likes to be in charge, watches attentively so he doesn’t try again to eat Manzana’s bone on the other side of the entrada.

We cleared out the flower garden in front of our house which was way too full of flowers. (Everything grows here so quickly and profusely!)

This is what it looked like in the evening. A bit shocking, but it will fill up quickly. Lots of flowers have now been moved to new locations on the land.

We also quickly filled up many of the new clay pots which we bought last August!

We decided to create the design for our rather unusual AN•Labyrinth using glass tiles on a table. This made it much easier to see the two paths into the AN center of the labyrinth.
(You enter the labyrinth from either the North or the South, traverse half of the labyrinth into the center and leave via the other path.)
And of course, there will be different levels. Some parts will be one step up, while other areas will be one or two steps down.
We’re getting close to the final design. If there’s no rain on Thursday, we will lay it out on the ground using yeso plaster dust and try it out to see how it feels.

Our AN•Labyrinth has two entrances and two exits so two people can enter it at the same time and encounter each other in the center which is the Sun – Moon of AN.
We had to measure the two paths with string to see if the journey into the center was an equal distance. (And of course, our labyrinth also can be walked by just one person, or even by a group!)

Today, Jesús created a new area for flowers near the AN•Labyrinth. I love how our flower places fit in so well with the land.

Here’s a closeup of the new flower area. When the verbena grows, it will cascade over the rocks. Now, we actually have to buy a few more flowers to go into the middle!
