During the month of September, we focused on needed maintenance. German came over and thoroughly inspected the tile roof of our house so it would be ready for the upcoming rainy season. In the third week of September, Percy started repairing all the settling cracks in our house. (We had wanted to do this for several years.) This entailed moving all the furniture away from the walls and thoroughly dismantling everything in my office and our bedroom ~ my two most personal spaces.
Just when our energetic fields were in a state of chaotic dissolution, I became sick with a mystery illness and experienced a massive purge, like I’ve never experienced before, for around a week. It felt like my entire journey through the Detour of Duality was being cleaned out. All disappointments, distortions, deceptions and heartbreaks were forcibly flushed out of me.
At the same time this was happening, the New Reality became stronger and everything around me became stunningly beautiful. This sense of breathtaking, BEYOND BEAUTIFUL continues today.
This Photo Journey takes us to the end of the first week of October. We’re still not caught up, so I’ll start working on October soon.
And in the next Photo Journey, I’ll share some of the exciting, new inspirations which have been coming in.
Much Love to you all from all of us at the Heart of AN. Thank you for sharing this journey into the New True Reality!

In early September we enjoyed a visit from Sarah and her volunteer, Claudia. The Alpacas of AN lined up in a row to greet them.

In September and October, we often have strong afternoon winds. Since this is also the end of the dry season, there is always the danger of wildfires ~ most of them which are accidentally set by neighbors burning their garbage or fields.
-
-
On September 9, there was a wildfire on the far side of Urubamba. It moved quickly in the afternoon wind, but was put out by the locals that night. Another reason to be grateful when the rainy season begins!

The Rainy Season started on time this year, but since then it’s disappeared. It’s always a relief when the rain comes and everything becomes lush and green again.

Very proud of my new market basket which I found at the new bi-weekly Fair in Urubamba.

After a hiatus of over a year, the local committee of water users finally had a meeting ~ which lasted for four hours with 120 people in attendance, including Emanaku. This Peruvian dog was the main entertainment.
-
-
At the end of the meeting, everyone has to get into a very long line to sign the sole attendance book. This takes over an hour!

Although many businesses have closed since March 2020, several small new businesses have sprung up in the Sacred Valley. We like trying out some of the new places.

Tika is the only one of our dogs who will go into the car, which was fortunate when she got sick and Emanaku had to drive her a few times to the veterinarian in Urubamba. She actually looks like she was having fun!

After several years, we decided it was time to repair all the settling cracks in our walls. First, Percy opened up and widened the cracks. This one was in my office.
-
-
Here are some more cracks outside my office.
-
-
Meanwhile, my office was totally dismantled so we could repair and repaint the cracks.
-
-
The same thing was happening in our bedroom. But it felt so good to finally get them repaired.
-
-
Since the crack filler wasn’t totally dry before it was repainted, we ended up with this artistic special effect for awhile. Percy also repainted stains on our ceilings from water leaks last year.
-
-
Percy also applied new coats of marine varnish to the entrance to the Tower of AN.

-
The Alpacas of AN are always delighted whenever Emanaku brings them a bundle of fresh alfalfa, which he does a few times a week.
