When I was in Mexico last year, I was on my way to Xochimilco with Marcela Medina, Keenuane and Silvia when we spontaneously decided to stop at a plant market to look for tin lanterns.
In front of our random parking place was a man decorating flower pots by using one of these very unique tools which he dipped in paint and pressed onto the side of the pot. After a long search throughout the market, we finally found a man who was willing to sell me a few of his personal metal stamps since there were none for sale.
This is what I’m using in one of our toilet compartments to make a border of spiral hearts.
