Everything is moving forward here at a rapidly accelerating pace. The energies are noticeably building up and there’s the strong feeling that something wondrous is going to happen in May. And we need to be ready for it!
Last week, Reina, who lives nearby, came and began washing and waxing our tile floors. The completed floors look beautiful and recalibrate the energy. Today she is here again, transforming more tile floors.
German returned yesterday and almost completed the AN•Chakana roof. It would have been completed, but I suddenly realized that it needed an AN Sun-Moon disc on the top like our other buildings. So Emanaku and I made a hurried trip to our metal worker in Urubamba and ordered one to be made. Each AN disc needs six bells and we only had four extra ones, so I removed some from wind chimes we had until we had enough. The AN disc should be ready today and as soon as I paint it, it can be installed and the roof completed!
Today German and his son are busy working inside our house repairing cracks in the walls which were created when the house settled deeper into the ground. This process will take a few days. At the same time, German will start making the river rock foundation on the adobe wall which surrounds our house. This is something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time!
Eloy has been busy planting new vetiver plants in our ecological sewage system, stacking firewood and repairing the damage to the paint from our big storm a few weeks ago on a few exterior walls at AN•Wasi, AN•Tika and our new stage / storage hut next to the labyrinth. Next, he will repaint the damaged areas ono the outside of our house.
It’s like being in the middle of a whirlwind of activity here right now, but even though so much is happening, it’s happening with a surprising sense of calm. We are all being focused and efficient. And Emanaku and I are very excited for what is to come!
If you would like to be a part of the May Breakthroughs at the Heart of AN, we still have a few spaces left in our Readers of the Cards of AN Master Class from May 12 -16: https://anvisible.com/evs/cats/rocclasses/

Luna loves to perch herself in quiet places so she can observe everything that is going on.

Last week, we had to move as many things as possible out of our Art Studio so the floors could be washed and waxed. This is what our entrada looked like during this process. The Buddhas loved visiting each other!
-
-
Our Art Studio floor is finally ready to be washed and waxed!

Juana and her mother are sitting in what we call the “Fairy Circle” and stringing a loom to make a new poncho. This loom only holds half of a poncho at a time, so once it is done, the process will need to be repeated.
An entire handwoven poncho, such as the red one on the right, takes two months to weave!
-
-
Here are colorful balls of hand spun wool, with the drop spindle to the right of them. These are absolutely exquisite weavings full of the energy of the nearby mountain Apus.
Juana’s Mother is wearing the traditional hat of her mountain community of Cancha Cancha.

We’re getting ready to buy some new firewood for the upcoming winter. Eloy restacked our old firewood in the front of our wood area so there is space to put the newer wood in the back.

Leo checks out a section of our new couch which has four sections in total, which makes a full half circle which will be great for workshops and meetings. And it also has an alternate set of white pillow covers.
This very cool couch is actually for the outdoor living area outside our house which we haven’t built yet, but we always like to buy our outdoor furniture for half price at the “end of the summer” sale, so we had to buy it now.
Our current challenge is where to put it until the ramada is built later this year.

Emanaku went to Aristo’s workshop last week and drew the designs on our new doors.

We received a new shipment of vetiver plants in the late afternoon. But before we had a chance to unpack the box the following morning, Cachorro and Manzana tore it open and scattered vetiver plants, and the plastic they were wrapped in, everywhere!
-
-
Here are the culprits! Looking so, so innocent!
-
-
Here are the newly rescued vetiver plants waiting to be put into our Lotus shaped ecological sewage system.
-
-
Eloy removes the unhealthy vetiver and replaces them with healthy new plants.
-
-
We’re back at Aristo’s workshop putting the glass pellets and iridescent glimmer tiles into the new set of double doors for our Lotus Room.
-
-
It’s so fun working with Aristo who loves making our wildly original designs!
-
-
The new doors are beautiful. Today, we will buy the blue glass to put into the upper openings.

Yesterday, German and Victor returned and worked on the roof of the AN•Chakana. This is when I suddenly realized that it needed a Sun – Moon AN disc like our other buildings.
The AN disc will be ready today and as soon as I paint it, it will be placed on top of the roof.
-
-
They left a triangle open on the top for installing the AN disc. So the roof is ALMOST ready.
-
-
The grass in our ceremonial area has filled out nicely and is almost ready for our May Special Events.

Yesterday afternoon, Aristo arrived in his moto truck with our new doors!

Here are our new doors on the right. The openings in the top will be filled with blue glass.
The print of the Star Maidens who guide the celestial canoes is by the much beloved, artist – musician – magical being Bobby who spent many years in Tahiti painting their legends, creating heartful songs in Tahitian language and reviving Tahitian culture until his untimely death at age 44. It was gifted to me many years ago by my dear Star Sister Dorothy Lubin-Levy. And I really love it. (And Dorothy too.)
