AN•TAWA CEREMONIES 3 • Day 6 – LAGUNA QORICOCHA – Part 1
The day after our visit to Raqch’i, we went to Laguna Qoricocha ~ the Sacred Lake of RA.
Here we formed two processions ~ one coming downwards and one going upwards. We met at the place where the ancient Inca Path ~ the Qhapaq Nan intersected the land. This is when our ceremony began.

Benedikt volunteered to see how deep the mud was in the lake. It was quite deep.

But going through the mud was the only way into the lake.

- Since the water in the lake was lower than we had ever seen, this was the most mud that we had experienced there.
- Our six Pututus honored Qoricocha.
-
The lake felt very still today.
