The day after our visit to Raqch’i, we went to Laguna Qoricocha ~ the Sacred Lake of RA.
Even though many of were tired from our previous day’s ceremony in Raqch’i, we were happy to return to the beautiful Qoricocha.

We sat as Silent Watchers, only this time we saw hundreds of Silent Watchers, all wearing Magenta Ponchos of AN, joining us all around the lake.

Laguna Qorichocha became very still. Normally, it feels searingly strong. We had never felt it this quiet here. Photo by Kalasara.
That’s when something exquisitely beautiful was revealed to us from its depths. Photo by Armando.

So be it.
We had a delicious lunch at the Qoricocha Lodge. Photo by our driver Armando, who is on the right front.
The ladies of Qenko had been patiently waiting to bring out their special treasures. Even the Chef had some things to sell. Photo by Tracey.
We bought as much as we could, because we knew that this was their only opportunity to sell their beautiful weavings. Photo by Armando.
This is when beams of light and a rainbow appeared on the left wall of the lodge! Photo by Sebastian.
Armando brought out a book with a photo of the Inca Altar at the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) in Cuzco. There are so many familiar elements on it. Photo by Nogi.
Sulpayqi, Qoricocha!
