The New Year of 2020 arrived and it felt like we had been deposited into a New True Landscape. We realized that the shocking events of the past few months had somehow helped us to arrive at the end of the Detour of Duality. The New Reality of AN deepened and expanded before our very eyes. The air suddenly felt clean and fresh and full of nutrients. Visions and expanded perceptions poured in. Everything suddenly became so NEW and TRUE. We felt deeply grateful….
Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of activity here. We hired several more workers and began doing needed maintenance and new projects. There were roofs to be built, walls to be painted, land to be planted and bush to be cleared. Every day it feels like we are making major progress.
While we are doing this, an exquisite NEW TRUE LANDSCAPE is being revealed all around us, right in the midst of our old landscape. And as this happens, we realize that this is also happening within us at the very same time!
At mid month, we were finally able to build our ::AN TAWA CH’ASKA CHAKA :: ~ The Bridge of the Four Stars. I had been seeing this bridge as a vision since early December. It had appeared so clearly to me that it felt like it was already here ~ and it was, on an energetic level. But it was a quantum breakthrough to actually manifest it on the physical. And it has greatly shifted the energy at the Heart of AN.
At the same time, overgrown trees and bushes were being thinned, creating a new sense of lightness. An ancient rock wall that had been long covered by plants was revealed. More of our NEW TRUE LANDSCAPE emerged. Both inside us and upon the land.
Emanaku and I are nearing the final stages of designing a new, two story guesthouse which will go next to the AN•Labyrinth, on the site of our old stage area which will be torn down. This new guesthouse will be quite beautiful. It will be used for those who come here for Transformational Retreats, as well as for volunteers.
The past few months were undeniably difficult, but now we are ready to embrace this glorious New World and inhabit our New True Landscape.

At the end of December, Pedro returned from his days off with a surprise gift to us from his wife, Cecilia. It was a three day old cria whose mother had abandoned her and who wouldn’t have survived up in the mountains by herself.
Emanáku and I were a bit in shock, as we didn’t feel ready for another alpaca ~ but here she was! I couldn’t even give her a name right away. Our new cria is so sweet and very friendly.
-
-
The rest of our alpacas love fresh alfalfa. Now, they run up to me whenever I hand feed them.
-
-
Around the second week of January, Ilum came to work with us and started clearing out all the overgrowth around our house. This made everything feel fresh and new.
-
-
There is a new lightness here which feels amazing. This was just what we needed.
-
-
Next, Ilum and Pedro set to work on the side of our house by the acequia canal and we watched a totally New Landscape emerge directly from our known landscape.
-
-
It feels like everything around us is transforming into a heightened New Reality from the overgrown jungle of the past.
-
-
An ancient rock wall was rediscovered next to the octagon. Each time that our known landscape expands, our internal landscape expands as well. This expansion continually fills us with a sense of awe.
-
-
The ancient, moss covered rocks in the newly discovered wall are so timeless and beautiful.
-
-
New open space was created where none had existed before. Again, this is happening both inside and outside ourselves.
-
-
Everything feels familiar, yet at the same time, feels absolutely new.
-
-
Since it’s rainy season, everything is growing in a great profusion in our vegetable garden.
-
-
Our neighbor Eusebio and Pedro’s son Percy have been helping us to clear patches of unused land to replant with special grass for the alpacas. On the left is a newly cleared area.
-
-
Several mice moved into Kusi•Wasi to get out of the rain, which meant that it needed to be thoroughly cleaned out by Emanaku and Percy.
-
-
Next, it was finally time to build the Bridge of the Four Stars ~
:: AN TAWA CH’ASKA CHAKA ::
-
-
German and two of his sons arrived and quickly set to work.
-
-
It felt very significant to put the first tiles into the first Star. I had been longing to do this since I had first envisioned the Bridge of the Four Stars in early December.
-
-
I carefully placed the tiles into each Star, then German would gently push them deeper into the wet cement.
-
-
It felt momentous to do this. The Bridge of the Four Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟 anchors a completely new level of the New Reality of AN. It takes us BEYOND the place of our Original Evolutionary Blueprint into expanded areas of awareness that were previously unseen and unknown.
-
-
New river rocks were placed around the Bridge of the Four Stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 These were the stones which had once represented all the countries of the world in a ceremony we did here a few years ago. Before using them in the Bridge, I had washed them, sung to each one individually and reset them into the frequencies of the AN TAWA CH’ASKA CHAKA . This felt very right.
Now, we had to wait a few hours for the cement to set, before the Bridge of the Four Stars would be revealed. There was a deep sense of excited anticipation.
-
-
In the afternoon, the cement was washed away and the Bridge of the Four Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟 was finally revealed. It looked exactly like what I had envisioned!
-
-
:: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 AN TAWA CH’ASKA CHAKA 🌟🌟🌟🌟 ::
The Bridge of the Four Stars has finally manifested into the physical!
-
-
Our new cria is fed bottles of milk several times a day. She is still sleeping inside Pedro’s house until it gets a bit warmer.
-
-
Sweet Manzana has been chewing on her paw for a long time. We have tried many things, but nothing has helped. This year, Emanaku and I decided to put much effort into healing it. She has been wearing a bandage and one of Emanaku’s old socks for several weeks. The only problem is she really likes to chew off the bandage.
-
-
As a last resort, we bought her a cone in Cuzco. She wore it for an hour or so, but looked so sad that we had to take it off. Now, she is without a bandage, sock or cone, but amazingly, her leg is starting to heal.
-
-
Not even a month old, Tulipán is getting bigger every day and is just learning to eat grass. She is very friendly with both humans and dogs and will run up and greet you. She’s not afraid of being petted.
The Year 2020 is already full of surprises and such an exquisite, expanded New True Landscape!
-
-
We may get a new mother and cria so Tuli will have someone to play with. Hopefully, the new mother will adopt Tuli too.
-
-
Our other three alpacas don’t seem interested in taking over mothering duties with Tuli, although they are becoming much friendlier with her.
-
-
Our new cria finally has her name! She is Tulipán or Tuli for short. (Tulipán is Tulip 🌷in Spanish.)
-
-
Soon, we are going to take down our old stage / storage building and create a new, two story guesthouse here. Emanaku and I are in the midst of completing the design. It’s going to be unique and beautiful and can be used by those who come here for Transformational Retreats, as well as volunteers.
-
-
After finishing clearing the overgrown plants around our house, Ilum is now cleaning up the land around the AN•Labyrinth.
-
-
Some of the gorgeous flowers at the Heart of AN!
-
-
Eusebio and Percy have just finished replanting special alpaca grasses in our fairy circles. We want to create lots of alternate areas for the alpacas to graze in.
-
-
The roof to the pump house outside AN•Wasi has now been repaired. Next, we will repaint the wall and put new wood preservative on our carrizo bamboo wall. There is always much maintenance to do here.
-
-
Since this has been a super rainy season, we decided to add a new section of roof to Alpaca•Wasi ~ the alpaca’s house. German and his sons removed sections of roof to use from our old stage area.
-
-
The alpacas seem very happy with their additional roof and there is less mud in the previously open section of their house.
-
-
After Alpaca•Wasi got its new roof, Pedro completely rebuilt the door
