Beacon of AN Rooftop Ceremony Part One
On April 21st, we held a simple, but deeply touching, ceremony at the Heart of AN to put the Beacon of AN and two toros from Pucara on top of the roof of our house.
Walter and Julie arrive with the flowers for our ceremony.
Here are Tuanet and Mateo!
Carlos and Mateo explore our house.
Emanáku, Solara and Victor give the toros some extra love and appreciation
before they go on top of the roof.
Victor carries the Beacon of AN to the top of the tower room.
Chalo brings up some of the flowers.
Carlos carries more flowers onto the tower roof.
We just found out that he’s scared of heights, but said that he couldn’t resist going up there.
Everything is placed into its new position.
The Beacon of AN and toros are cemented onto the roof with much love and respect
by Victor and Aurelio, then decorated with flowers.

Flowers are placed in a circle on the roof around the Beacon of AN, like rays of a Sun.
More flowers are put on the other side.
