We are living in such a paradox during these unusual times. There’s the surreal, science fiction, often ominous, outside world that just keeps getting stranger and stranger. And then there’s the world that we live in at the Heart of AN which is incredibly beautiful. And keeps getting even more beautiful! Here, everything is imbued with the energies of the New Reality ~ Timeless and True. These two, very different, worlds are such a stunning example of the different reality systems that are present on the planet right now.
But even when we go out into our immediate local world, it’s not nearly as terrible as the world at large. There’s a lot of love and mutual respect in our interactions with our friends, neighbors and those whom we encounter while doing our mundane errands. Somehow, our One True Being is getting stronger in the midst of everything. This love and kindness is a great help and source of strength to all of us. We are fortunate to be here in this part of Peru during this challenging time.
There were some visible changes at the Heart of AN from the middle of February to the middle of March. We hired Elio as a part time gardener. He’s our first professional gardener, who usually works at hotels. He and Pedro have been slowly transforming the land ~ area by area. They are creating new space by cleaning up the existing space. This has created an energetic expansion to the entire Heart of AN which feels wonderful. It also makes unexpected space for the new energies to enter. At the same time, we have noticed that the same thing is happening within us ~ our beings are expanding and new energies are coming in.
We also found the amazing Maria ~ the mother of a Peruvian friend of ours, who now comes once a week to help clean our house. After three weeks, she has transformed three rooms through in depth cleaning and her very grounded presence. We are grateful to have her here. She is a real treasure.
As for Emanaku and me ~ our energies seem to fluctuate day to day. We still have many days when we feel completely flattened and cannot achieve much. Yet, there are other days, when we can leap into action. After over a year of this, we are finally able to accept our times of Not Doing without guilt, knowing that we are working within the collective. We can surf the bouts of heavy energy, even though it sometimes takes us a while to emerge from them. And there are many moments of great clarity when we are anchored on the New Timeline!
Despite my best intentions, I never get caught up with these Photo Journeys. This Photo Journey only goes up to March 17. This means…..
MORE TO COME….

The hill behind Casita Huaran that was burned black in last October’s fire is now full of fresh new life!

Early in the morning and in the late afternoon, clouds roll into our valley, making everything feel so mysterious.

The handsome Chaco is filling up on lush green grass before he returns to Yanamayo.
Sights like this are part of our everyday reality! The New Reality Normal.

Our festive vegetable garden is thriving. It’s almost time for a new planting.

Beautiful orbs appear in the sky early in the morning as the Sun rises.

One of our more spectacular sunrises as the sky fills with the magenta light of AN.

Just a few months ago, this entire mountain was black from the fires! Everything regenerates so quickly here.

The Full Moon of February 27 was deep and mysterious.

Here the Moon looks like the eye of a large bird.

There was an iridescent halo around the Moon.

At the end of February, Luzclara returned home after a nearly three week retreat here.

Since Alexander was staying at his small private school, his sweet brother Yojan came to stay with Pedro. Here, he’s making friends with Tika.

Cachorro developed a hematoma on his ear and needed an operation. After he was given anesthesia, Pedro transported him in a wheelbarrow to the operating area.
-
-
Here’s the temporary operating room, right outside of AN•Wasi! Peruvian veterinarians are very good at making house calls, which is fortunate because our dogs refuse to get into the car. And veterinary care is much cheaper here than in many countries. (Since then, Cachorro’s ear has healed beautifully.)

In early March, Elio (on the right) arrived to work in our gardens a few days a week. Elio is our first professional gardener, having worked in hotels before. Pedro (on the left) has been assisting him and learning a lot. With both their efforts, the land is being beautifully transformed!

The Tower of Light of AN ~ the anchoring point of the New Reality. Notice how Nima is sitting in the middle of it anchoring the energies. She, Manzana and Cachorro all like to do this.

At first Tika wasn’t used to having so much freedom. She used to bark at anyone who was on the land, except for us. After a week of Emanaku patiently taking her outside on a leash, she felt safer and her behavior has greatly improved.
-
-
Here, we can see the newly created empty space behind the hills of flowers on the left side of our driveway. Right now, it is just bare dirt, but soon will be filled with flowers and fruit trees.
-
-
Elio and Pedro began clearing out the plants. As they did this, our land began to energetically expand. Space was created where it had been overgrown before, giving us room to plant new flowers and fruit trees. As this happened outside on our land, we also felt the expansion of new space within our beings.

In the middle of the night during the middle of March, there was a huge rain. Unfortunately, the canal behind Kusi•Wasi was blocked and the building became flooded. It took about a week to dry it out and clean it up. At the end of March, German and his crew came to deepen the canal so this won’t happen again.
-
-
Fortunately, since the building has partial stone walls, the adobe walls weren’t damaged.
-
-
Someone has been secretly making these amazing stone towers throughout the Heart of AN. We suspect that it might be Yojan, but don’t know for sure. They just unexpectedly appear and are wonderful to discover!

-
The super smart Q’oya Nima ~ the Queen of the Alpacas of AN ~ is highly attuned to everything that is going on ~ on multiple levels.

Tika ~ still aligning with her deep True Heart.

The wise and deeply loving Manzana!

In the middle of March, Alexander returned for a week’s visit. We had all missed him very much ~ especially his father Pedro.
Many parents from remote communities are sending their children to these private boarding schools, especially since it’s been over a year since there has been any school in Peru, and education is very respected here. There are online classes, but most children in rural areas lack both electronic devices and internet access.

-
Tika absolutely LOVES water and is a total Water Dog! At every opportunity, she will happily leap into the canals and rarely comes into the house dry.
-
-
There are many exquisite flowers growing all over the Heart of AN. Some of them we planted, while others just pop up!

Although we have many sunny days, after a rainy night we often wake up to fresh snow on our beautiful APU.
