July was a rather intense month and August will most likely be even more intense. Because of this, it feels like time to recalibrate everything. This is what I’ve been doing, bit by bit. Cleaning our house, shelf by shelf, room by room. Moving things around. Making piles of stuff that we don’t need, to either give away or sell. It feels good to do this, even though it’s going at a slow, but steady pace. All of this is happening so we can better anchor the New Reality both within ourselves and at the Heart of AN.
While I’ve been recalibrating and resetting, Emanaku has been busy at his computer where he finally finished the registration forms for our exciting, Special Events in October. The Cards of AN Master Class and The Conclave of the Family of AN. The Registration Form is now online at anvisible.com/evs/conclave-2016/
For the past week, the air here has occasionally been smoky from fires of nearby farmers burning their fields, a fire on the mountain in Calca, as well as some wildfires coming all the way from the selva (rainforest). We really look forward to clean air again!
Monday, August 1st was the Andean New Year so we once again walked around the land and around all our buildings making offerings to Pachamama of wine and pika pika. This year we were four persons, plus two dogs. It always feels good to do this.
Happy Andean New Year to beloved Pachamama and to all of our magnificent 11:11 Family of AN!

Our borrowed sheep spent a few days eating grass at the AN•Chakana. As you can see, since we are in the midst of the dry season, some of our grass is turning brown.

On Saturday we received a visit from our super sweet, new neighbors. Björn is from Germany and his wife Tania is Peruvian. Her family owns the land across the road from us and they are now transforming their house into a small hostal, called Casita Huaran, which is perfect for guests to the Heart of AN when AN•Wasi is full.

The wild peach tree in front of our house is blooming and is already starting to have fruits!
-
-
On Sunday, we visited a small ceramics fair in Yucay. Didn’t buy much, but did get some small monkey statues to honor the Year of the Fire Monkey and two White Elephants! Plus, we ran into some dear local friends whom we hadn’t seen in five years!

While cleaning the house, I discovered this old newspaper from India from the time of the 11:11 Seventh Gate Activation in 2004. We just discovered for the first time that the photo of our Master Cylinder was sharing the front page with the beautiful Aishwarya Rai ~ one of my favorite Bollywood actresses!!!
And if you look closely at our photo, you might see some familiar faces!

There have been some small fires during the past week which have made our skies full of smoky haze. Both wildfires and farmers burning their fields. We’ve heard that many of these fires originate in the selva (rainforest).

August first is the Andean New Year so we went around the land and made offerings to Pachamama with wine and yellow pika pika confetti.
-
-
Manzana and Cachorro found it quite fun and received sprinkles of pika pika.
-
-
Eloy, Juana, Emanaku and I went around all our buildings, plus all the perimeters of the land, with offerings to Pachamama.
-
-
Eloy was in charge of the wine offerings which were poured at all the corners, along with prayers in Quechua and AN language to Pachamama.
-
-
Here is our small procession at the entrada to our house.
-
-
Luna and Leo watched us attentively from the window.
Here you can see how Leo has grown much bigger than Luna.
-
-
We also went around the AN•Chakana and AN•Labyrinth. The entire process took us over an hour!
-
-
We also tossed wine and pika pika offerings over the fence to our new land. But since we won’t finish buying it until December, we didn’t go on the land itself.
-
-
When we had offered blessings to Pachamama all over the land and around all our buildings, it was time to pika pika each other! Which we did…. with great enthusiasm.
-
-
The AN•Sonqo Sanctuary Land is quickly becoming green. We can’t wait until we make the final payment in December and this beautiful land is finally reunited with the Heart of AN!
-
-
Yesterday, we had a visit from Eloy’s brother Elvis who studies fashion in Lima. He brought a bundle of jeans he had made to sell. We love Juana’s colorful sense of style!

Here’s a pika pika Andean New Year’s BLESSING to you all with huge LOVE from all of us at the Heart of AN!
Love to see the picture and the surprise blessing at the end was perfect!
