The past week was rather intense and action-packed. First of all, there was the extremely powerful Lunar Eclipse last Sunday. The energies of the Eclipse continue to be strongly felt here. I have had little sleep since last Saturday and have developed cold like symptoms with constant chills and fever happening simultaneously in my body.
During this time, we also had a great visit with Patrice Karst who was here for a personal, transformational retreat. We love hosting these special, individualized retreats. The Heart of AN is definitely the right place to come to if you are ready for in-depth transformation. And we love being a part of this. We were also deeply touched by our special meeting with two Kogi Mamos visiting from Colombia.
This week, we are focusing on grounding and integration of all that has poured in this month. Keeping it simple feels essential at the moment. We cherish the moments when we can walk on the land, commune with the alpacas and do simple, natural things. This is a powerful year, so these interludes of simplicity are deeply cherished.

Our very sweet Temple of the Four Elements. It looks small here, but once you are inside it, it feels so much larger.

Our new Temple of the Elements. See how it expands once you are inside it. We haven’t had time yet to make the First Fire in our new fireplace. It feels important that the First Fire is done in a sacred manner.

The Always Adorable Alpacas of AN!
Since we currently have ten alpacas here, we are running out of grass and need to return a few alpacas to Pedro’s herd soon. It will be a difficult decision which ones will leave us. We love them all so much.

Here come the alpacas around our house! Each one is such an unique being.

The magnificent Apu Sawasiray as seen from the Heart of AN.

Early in the morning there is such a pristine freshness on the land.

Manzana loves walking on the land with Emanaku early in the morning.
-
-
The lilies which we planted last year are flourishing! And there are twice as many as last year.
-
-
There have been so many rainbows this month! Here’s a nice double rainbow above some very wet alpacas.
-
-
Asiri and Kukuli in full motion with Manzana! They run so fast that it’s almost impossible to take a photo of them.
-
-
The very lovable Sisu is growing up quickly. She and Kukuli are our only long haired Suri alpacas.

Our Art Studio is all clean, totally reorganized and recalibrated! The energies feel amazing. Now, I’m starting to feel like making paintings again!

We’ve been experiencing several Sunbows this month, including one today.

Last Thursday, Patrice arrived from California for a transformational personal retreat at AN•Wasi. We immediately took her to El Huacatay for some delicious and healthy chicha morada.

Our vegetable garden is getting a bit out of control. It is brimming with super delicious arugula, red romaine and other lettuces, zuccini and summer squash, daikon and other radishes, plus various herbs.
Now the cauliflowers are starting to come, plus carrots, red cabbages, onions and beets. The tomatoes are still small, but soon there will be lots of them. Plants love growing here, except for the flowers and comfrey we planted in the very center. Perhaps the energies are too strong there.

We made a very powerful fire ceremony with Patrice!

Mama Rit’i and her daughter Kukuli. Rit’i now feels much more at home here and is becoming quite friendly.

The beautiful Tawani is so loving and wise.

The ever sparking AN•Chakana is a true Bridge between the Worlds.

Last Saturday, we went to Pisac to meet with two Kogi Mamos from Colombia.
-
-
A strong connection was made and a realization that we are meant to work together.

Apu Sawasiray is always mystical and inspiring. Its strong presence is visible from all over the Heart of AN.

Asiri and Kukuli have become best friends. They are super cute together.

Last Sunday, we took Patrice to the market in Chinchero to find her Hidden Treasures. It is always such a joy to see our friends in the market there.

In Chinchero, Patrice and I had to eat some of their delicious choclo con queso (corn on the cob with a chunk of cheese) with their special green salsa.
-
-
On Sunday, we also visited the sacred lake which corresponds with the Star of AN in Orion’s Belt.
-
-
After our return from Chinchero, Patrice made her very vibrant Drum of AN.
-
-
The three of us took our Drums of AN to the Tower of AN so Patrice could announce her entrance into the Family of AN. No’e was standing in the center and didn’t want to leave!
-
-
It felt so good to hear the sound of our Drums of AN again.
-
-
Patrice even got to experience alpaca herding!
-

A spectacular rainbow appeared during the early evening of the Eclipse.
-
-
When the Full Moon arose on Sunday night, it was obscured by clouds and couldn’t be seen. Emanaku was so disappointed. Finally, the clouds cleared up late at night and formed a large eye.
-
-
And then there was this interesting shape! But just before the Eclipse at midnight, the clouds returned and the Moon again disappeared. Poor Emanaku!

During her stay, Patrice had two readings with the Cards of AN. Her first reading showed us what needed to be transformed and set it in motion. The second reading was on the day she left and gave helpful advice about reentering her life while maintaining her connection to the New Reality.

Before she left on Monday, Patrice walked the AN•Labyrinth and stepped out of her old life into her True Life. It was an amazing visit and we look forward to hosting more personal transformation retreats here.
